Overview


Amazon is seeking a customer-focused, analytical, and execution-driven Associate Marketing Manager to join its RBS Retail Efficiency team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the world’s fastest-growing e-commerce businesses by enhancing customer experience and driving business growth through strategic marketing initiatives.


The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns, analyzing customer behavior, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful customer experiences and business results.


Key Responsibilities


  • Own and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns and initiatives, including design, tracking, and merchandising.
  • Analyze customer behavior across search, browse, and purchase activities to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans, including on-site promotions, email campaigns, outbound programs, product launches, and site-wide events.
  • Design and implement engaging online customer experiences.
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities, working with cross-functional teams to develop solutions.
  • Drive SEO initiatives and create content strategies to increase traffic and customer engagement.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report key performance metrics, including traffic, click-through rates, conversion, and adoption.
  • Test and evaluate new marketing tactics to improve conversion rates and share insights across teams.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, designers, and business stakeholders to support feature launches and site enhancements.

Required Qualifications


  • Minimum 2 years of professional, non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience working in a marketing role.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Tableau, including data manipulation, charts, pivot tables, and related analysis.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience in online retail operations or a related field.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to support decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to quickly learn technical tools, including Excel, XML basics, and internal systems.
  • Strong interest in e-commerce and customer-focused marketing.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, or advertising industries.
  • Experience creating marketing content and copy.
  • Familiarity with on-site merchandising tools.
  • Background in retail, marketing, or communications.
  • MBA qualification is an advantage.
