Job Description 


EY GDS is looking for a Finance Supervising Associate to support financial reporting, planning, and operational finance activities. In this role, you will work closely with finance, operations, and reporting teams to improve financial accuracy, strengthen reporting processes, and support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and supervise month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial activities.
  • Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS and internal policies.
  • Review profit and loss accounts and balance sheet movements.
  • Conduct variance analysis and explain financial deviations with business reasoning.
  • Present monthly financial results, risks, and improvement opportunities to management.
  • Maintain complete and organized financial documentation and audit trails.
  • Resolve discrepancies, posting issues, and data-related errors.
  • Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately with supporting evidence.
  • Support junior team members in resolving mismatches and escalating unresolved issues.
  • Identify process and control gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with finance teams, auditors, business partners, and stakeholders.
  • Support automation initiatives, standard templates, and system-driven improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and updated process documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting processes.
  • Strong accounting knowledge.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.

Preferred Skills


  • Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization tools.
