About the Role


HSBC is seeking an Assistant Manager – Overseas Indian Business to drive customer acquisition and business growth within the Overseas Indian (OI) segment. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.


Key Responsibilities


  • Acquire New-to-Bank (NTB) Overseas Indian customers and achieve business targets.
  • Identify opportunities from new and existing corporate client relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and execute local marketing events and promotional campaigns to generate leads.
  • Collaborate with Branch Banking, Commercial Banking, and Corporate Salary teams to drive business development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate call reports, customer records, and MIS updates.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Deliver fair customer outcomes while maintaining high standards of professional conduct.

Eligibility Criteria


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements will be an added advantage.
