Receptionist cum Attendant
Location: Marriott Hotel Al Forsan Abu Dhabi
Job Summary
We are seeking a Receptionist cum Attendant to support daily recreation operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The role involves welcoming guests, providing information about recreation facilities and activities, handling registrations and scheduling, processing payments, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Encourage and register guests for recreation activities.
- Provide information about available facilities, programs, and services.
- Promote facility rules and safety regulations.
- Monitor recreational areas and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Identify situations where guests may not be able to participate safely and report concerns to supervisors.
- Clean and maintain recreation equipment and supplies.
- Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, and retail sales.
- Welcome guests and address their needs in accordance with company service standards.
- Answer telephone calls professionally and provide assistance as required.
- Maintain positive working relationships with team members.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Enter and retrieve work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Experience
- No prior related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
Certifications
- CPR Certification.
- First Aid Certification.
- Recreation Equipment Certification.
- Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects as required.
- Ability to work in various physical environments, including stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces.
- Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Ability to visually inspect equipment and verify information.
