About the Role
Siemens is looking for an experienced IT Strategy Professional with a focus on Artificial Intelligence to join its international team in Pune. This role will play a key part in shaping and driving the company’s IT strategy, with AI serving as a major driver of transformation, innovation, productivity, and value creation.
The selected candidate will contribute to the strategic direction of Siemens as a ONE Tech Company by translating AI-enabled capabilities into technology roadmaps, measurable outcomes, scalable adoption, and effective governance across global IT and business environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Advance the Siemens IT strategy by embedding AI as a strategic driver for transformation, productivity, innovation, and long-term value creation.
- Align AI initiatives with global IT priorities, enterprise technology direction, and business objectives.
- Translate developments in AI, generative AI, agentic AI, automation, data platforms, and emerging technologies into strategic priorities and transformation roadmaps.
- Define and drive AI transformation roadmaps with measurable outcomes and value realization mechanisms.
- Identify and prioritize scalable AI opportunities across IT environments.
- Improve IT effectiveness, operational excellence, decision-making, delivery models, and user experience through AI-enabled transformation.
- Support the adoption of AI-driven capabilities by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure implementation and sustainable value.
- Evolve IT operating models to support intelligent automation and future-ready ways of working.
- Strengthen governance frameworks for responsible AI, risk management, compliance, and portfolio management.
- Assess operating model and governance implications related to AI transformation.
- Align senior stakeholders through strategic recommendations and decision proposals.
- Communicate AI transformation strategies to technology leaders and decision-makers.
Required Experience and Skills
- 10+ years of total professional experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in AI strategy, digital strategy, IT strategy, technology transformation, or enterprise architecture.
- Experience delivering or assessing AI-enabled transformation initiatives in corporate, consulting, or technology environments.
- Ability to translate AI and data-driven technologies into business opportunities, strategic priorities, and governance requirements.
- Experience evaluating AI use cases based on value, feasibility, scalability, risk, and data readiness.
- Experience supporting strategic planning and execution within large global IT or technology organizations.
- Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI principles, risk management, and technology decision frameworks.
- Strong English communication skills with the ability to influence global stakeholders and work across multicultural teams.
