Job Purpose


As a Cabin Services Assistant, you will organise, hygienically clean, and personalise the A380 Shower Spas to ensure every First Class customer enjoys an exceptional onboard experience. The role primarily focuses on Shower Spa cleanliness and personalisation, while also maintaining First, Business, and Economy Class lavatories, First and Business Class lounges, and general cabin areas.


This position is dedicated to cleaning designated aircraft areas and does not replace or overlap with normal Cabin Crew service duties. The Cabin Services Assistant reports to the Purser or the Senior Flight Steward (SFS) when the Purser is unavailable.


Key Responsibilities


  • Perform inventory control to ensure products are loaded in the correct quantities for onboard service and replenishment.
  • Inspect Shower Spas and lavatories before passenger boarding and prepare them with the required amenities.
  • Clean and sanitise the Shower Spas after every customer use, following the CSA Checklist.
  • Personalise the Shower Spa for each customer based on the Shower Spa Reservations System.
  • Ensure no customers enter the Shower Spa after it has been prepared and notify the Purser if the reservation schedule falls behind.
  • Maintain clean and well-stocked lavatories by following the CSA Checklist.
  • Keep passenger cabins, lounges, and social areas clean, tidy, and safe.
  • Report any defects, unusual incidents, suspicious items, or safety concerns to the Purser or nearest crew member.
  • Report for duty on time, comply with uniform regulations, follow the chain of command, and carry out duties assigned by the Purser.

Qualifications


  • 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience with an international hotel chain, airline, or world-class service provider.
  • Housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
