Job Description


ACCOR is hiring an Income Auditor for Novotel Bur Dubai. The role is responsible for auditing daily revenue transactions, verifying financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end closing activities to ensure the accuracy of hotel financial operations.


Key Responsibilities


  • Balance and audit all Front Office postings and settlements.
  • Verify that all departments have posted their revenues correctly.
  • Review hotel reports and night audit reports.
  • Ensure month-end deadlines and schedules are completed.
  • Respond to credit card chargebacks and credit card inquiries.
  • Reconcile credit card commissions daily.
  • Reconcile Food & Beverage POS systems with the Property Management System (PMS) and record adjustment entries when required.
  • Monitor Front Office rebates, paid-outs, miscellaneous charges, and staff charges, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
  • Review F&B voids for authorization and supporting information.
  • Prepare the daily operational package for management.
  • Follow up and report any notes raised by signatories.
  • Assist with month-end closing and balance sheet account analysis.
  • Prepare month-end income journal entries according to company policies.
  • Assist the General Cashier with surprise float counts.
  • Report any discrepancies to the Audit Supervisor or Accountant.
  • Perform the responsibilities of the Audit Supervisor during their absence.
  • Support the accounting team with additional accounting duties as required.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in income auditing or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in Sun System, Opera, Micros, and Vision.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing procedures, and financial reporting standards.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical financial practices.

Additional Requirements


  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
