Job Overview


Infosys is hiring a Power BI Admin to manage and administer enterprise BI platforms, support business intelligence operations, and ensure platform performance, security, and reliability.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and administer enterprise BI platforms including Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Sigma, and Metric Insights.
  • Perform platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Manage Power BI Premium/Embedded capacity planning and monitor platform performance.
  • Support application and system vulnerability management.
  • Manage deployment pipelines and CI/CD integrations for Power BI and Qlik.
  • Monitor platform health, usage, and analytics.
  • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based access controls.
  • Manage user onboarding, offboarding, and license allocation.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks proactively.
  • Handle incidents using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and provide root cause analysis.
  • Maintain SLA compliance and incident documentation.
  • Support Azure cloud environments (AWS/GCP knowledge is an advantage).
  • Oversee data refresh schedules, gateway configurations, and connectivity.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for Power BI users and troubleshoot reports, datasets, gateways, and access issues.
  • Work with network and security teams to implement cloud networking best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, security, and platform teams to improve the BI ecosystem.
  • Administer QlikView and Qlik Sense environments.
  • Manage Qlik servers, reload schedules, and user access.
  • Support migrations between Qlik and Power BI.
  • Troubleshoot Qlik dashboards and performance issues.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
