ABOUT THE ROLE

The Accounting & Reporting Analyst will support accounting and reporting activities, with a focus on bank transactions, record-to-report processes and financial accuracy. The position involves working with teams across AP, AR, General Accounting and Intergroup functions, as well as coordinating with country teams and business controllers.

The role includes monthly closing, general ledger reconciliation and journal entry processing while ensuring accounting activities follow relevant standards and procedures. The position also requires flexibility to work across different shift timings.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather and coordinate accounting information for bank transactions.
  • Handle bank accounting processes, including IHB and intergroup transactions.
  • Work with AP, AR, GA and IG teams to resolve accounting queries.
  • Coordinate with FAO country teams regarding bank transaction details.
  • Process journal entries in the books of accounts.
  • Complete Record-to-Report (R2R) monthly closing activities.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with business controllers.
  • Support accurate financial reporting and compliance with applicable accounting standards.


REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
  • 2–4 years of experience in General Accounting, BRS or Treasury Accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of bank accounting processes.
  • Flexibility to work in any shift timings.
  • Good communication, collaboration and integrity.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of SAP-CFIN and SAP S/4HANA.
