ABOUT THE ROLE

The Fulfillment Center Supervisor will oversee shift operations within Amazon’s fulfillment and delivery network. The role involves managing associates, coordinating workforce allocation based on operational requirements, maintaining safety and quality standards, and communicating important shift information to frontline management.

The supervisor will also work with support teams and other departments to resolve operational issues. Data analysis, innovation and process optimization will be used to help address logistics and supply chain challenges.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment by identifying safety opportunities.
  • Manage, support and train associates during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure customer orders are processed according to quality and safety standards.
  • Provide important shift updates to frontline management and operators.
  • Adjust labor allocation throughout the shift to meet operational plans and forecasts.
  • Work with support functions and other departments on process readiness, 5S, safety and training.
  • Use data analysis, innovation and process optimization to address logistics and supply chain challenges.


REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 1 year of Microsoft Office experience, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
  • Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and holidays.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required.
