ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Tax Analyst I, you'll help the U.S. Indirect Tax Compliance team keep licensing and tax registration work on track. You'll handle a large flow of critical documents and information from several teams, making sure the right people get them on time. You'll work with leadership and other cross-functional groups, and you'll also be expected to suggest process improvements and technical ideas that cut down repetitive manual work.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Track and manage tax registrations and licenses across multiple systems, working alongside business site teams
  • Maintain the licensing and tax registration calendar
  • Support payment processing, including check requests
  • Prepare expense reports for licensing and tax registrations
  • Help route, track, classify and distribute incoming mail each day
  • Document processes and procedures for licensing and tax registrations
  • Spot opportunities for automation and AI-driven improvements, and help deliver them
  • Pick up other U.S. indirect tax tasks as needed, including filings


REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
  • 1+ years of experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
  • Familiarity with at least one data tool, such as Python, SQL, Alteryx, Amazon QuickSight or similar
